I logged into webmail and all of my email is gone all of a sudden. What happened?

Your email was automatically archived as you went above the 10 MB quota. The system will automatically zip your email files and put them in the home directory of your hosting account when this happens, so that you can continue to receive emails and not bounce message back to the sender.

We recommend using a real email client such as Outlook Express, Eudora or something when possible instead of webmail as webmail will not allow you very much storage, only 10 MB and then it will be archived & removed.

If you plan on using the SquirrelMail webmail as your primary email program you will need to remember to regularly delete emails (including the sent items and emptying the trash folder)

We can have our admins restore it to the FOLDERS area in your webmail. Once restore, you would click on folders at the top, then scroll down and you should see something in the white box like emailname-OLDMAIL or something.

Highlight it and click the subscribe button. Refresh your folder list using the link on the left menu and you should see a new folder with that name. Your previous inbox will all be there, simply click on it to open.

If you would like us to do this please Click Here to contact our tech team through your support desk.
Please note that the support desk is NOT already setup using your hosting login and password by default. If you have not already done so, please create a new support desk account.
